I feel so sorry for all the people you have scammed out of thousands of pounds. It is absolutely disgraceful how you treat your customers it is obvious you just want their money, and once you do you no longer care if they every actually get their holiday, or get the hotel they booked, or flights or dates of travel. This seems to be your standard contact as I have read it so many times, and on EVERY occasion it appears that you send out this rubbish and NEVER bother to actually make any further contact. This is great for consumers who've done their research & have realistic expectations of what their budget can provide.Īs in all purchases, if consumers don't check what they are buying or the T & C's of their contract, then sadly, they do end up with buying something they don't think fits the purpose. Consumers tell them the price they want to pay, and the booking site will find something to match the price. Third party booking agents offer the bare bones at the lowest prices. Your other post about teletext indicates that you were rushing to secure a cheap holiday at the last minute, which is what you got. I've read your review of the hotel you stayed at, and it seems you had a good holiday at a very low price. It's a matter of doing research before booking. etc, is time consuming, the information is there. So although looking for feedback (not reviews) on any particular travel operator, third party booking site. ![]() Many travellers have suggeted that TA do provide such a forum, but it hasn't happemed yet.įor some inexplicable reason complaints about all the above get scattered across all the other forums, including the holiday, beach and bargain forums. Trip Advisor does not have a specific forum for reviewing travel companies, tour operators, escorted tour companies, third party web agents or booking sites. I am currently persuing this matter with Teletext Holidays in an attempt to recover some of the costs. We had no luck contacting teletext holidays, and landed up flying home early at our own expense. The crunch came in 2 parts, 1) my wife got food poisoning, 2) my 5 year old son spat out a cockroch from his coke (the barman could not have cared less). The hotel has obviously worked out that by offering the worst quaility drinks, people would be forced to buy drinks even though they were meant to be all inclusive. It was an all inclusive basis, but the food was terrible, plates and glasses dirty, room in a basement with threadbare sheets and towels, and cockroches on the floor. To cut a long story short, the hotel they booked us in was not good and not as described. They arranged easyjet flights and an all inclusive hotel in Crete - Club Lyda for 11 nights. The booking process on the phone before we travelled took ages, but was otherwise ok. ![]() My family and I are just back from a holiday booked through Teletext holidays. should really do an emergency process review as how many people has this affected?. ![]() Clearly a break in your access one system so i am told. As you will ask my reference is TT212700 my contact number is on the booking ref. Plus you haven't updated my address even though i called months ago to do so. ![]() And when called you still say i'm flying on an imaginary flight that isn't on gatwicks site, i will be taking to many mediums of social sites, press etc as this is unreal when paying thousands of pounds. I have a major issue with flights not being the same on my confirmation email as on the carrier "olympic holidays" site, they say they sent you (teletext holodays" correspondance detailing the flight change yet you still haven't updated!!!!!. I am utterly disgusted with your so called "customer service department". What an absolute joke teletext (TRULY TRAVEL) are still had no contact from anyone about my complaint even though they responded on this forum!!!!!.
